How an Optimized Krebs Cycle Keeps You Healthy

Have you ever wondered why your energy level was on the slow side? You have come to the right place.

Your daily level of energy is affected by how much ATP (usable energy) your body processes through what are known as mitochondria.  Mitochondria are (or mitochondrion, in the singular) are often referred to as the body’s energy furnaces, because they take the nutrients extracted from our foods and convert them into energy. This happens through a complex set of interactions known as the Krebs cycle which is named after its discoverer, Sir Hans Krebs, and works in association with the electron transport chain, which completes the work started by the Krebs cycle.

The Krebs cycle (often called the “Citric Acid Cycle”) is aerobic and requires oxygen. It occurs in the mitochondria of every cell in your body.

Our cells need the right amount of glucose, oxygen and functioning mitochondria to produce enough energy, otherwise, our cells will not function optimally and then eventually die.

When our cells our receiving all the tools they need to function healthily, this results in huge amounts of energy or increased cellular respiration.  Cellular respiration, in turn, increases our metabolism.  When our body’s metabolism is running well this means its energy needs are met.  The tissues then repair well, detoxing occurs, and even the hormones are functioning well etc.  All this means that we are healthy and therefore feeling great and full of energy.

Of course, a good diet that includes vitamins, eating the right fats and  carbs and proteins and how much you exercise and the right kind of exercise for your body, as well as good sleep are equally and vitally important to the Krebs Cycle and keeping you healthy.  A new supplement kit called the KREBS Bio Kit can provide the right balance of vitamins/minerals while optimizing the Krebs cycle.
